South Korean boyband ATEEZ has unveiled new single ‘Work,’ alongside a mini-album titled ‘Golden Hour: Part 1.’ This marks the band’s first release of 2024, after they dropped their second studio album, titled ‘The World EP.Fin: Will,’ back in December 2023, which was led by the single ‘Crazy Form.’ Mingi and Hongjoong, members of the group, co-wrote ‘Work,’ and San created the joint choreography for the video. The music video follows ATEEZ members involved in odd jobs like running diners and mining gold as they hustle to make more money. The song features the lyrics, “Gotta work / Gotta make that money, make purse / Got a fur coat so I make it purr / Gotta get that credit, get perks / Gotta, gotta, gotta work.”
After promoting their latest album, ATEEZ will embark on their 2024 world tour titled “Towards the Light: Will to Power” in North America beginning in July and ending in August. In other K-pop news, girl group ARTMS, featuring LOONA members HaSeul, JinSoul, Kim Lip, Choerry, and HeeJin, has made their official debut, releasing their debut album ‘Dall,’ which includes the lead single ‘Virtual Angel.’ Meanwhile, Min Hee-jin, the CEO of ADOR, which is home to NewJeans, has retained her position following a shareholders meeting, despite her ongoing feud with HYBE.
ATEEZ’s latest mini-album ‘Golden Hour: Part 1’ and ‘Work’ indicate that the band is on the path to continued success since their launch as a nine-member boy group in October 2018.
