Fiasco! has a new residency set to start on May 31st at Corsica Studios in Elephant and Castle. The Black-owned queer party will celebrate its new digs with sets from C.FRIM, Danielle, Jay Duncan, and mi-el. The London-based party was created by DJ and promoter Reece Spooner in 2018 and was initially held as a monthly event at Dalston Superstore in East London. As the team behind the party points out, Fiasco! is “about bringing people together and creating a fun and welcoming space for everyone, regardless of race, gender, or sexuality.” It’s no surprise that the party has developed such a passionate following across London.
Fiasco! is one of a number of Black-owned businesses in London that are changing the face of the city’s nightlife. In recent years, there has been a surge of interest in supporting and promoting Black-owned clubs, bars, and events across the capital. Fiasco! is a shining example of what can happen when people come together to create a safe and empowering space for everyone to enjoy. Whether you’re new to the clubbing scene or a seasoned pro, Fiasco! is well worth checking out. With a new residency at Corsica Studios, this party is only going to get bigger and better
