Cork artist Bambie Thug, who impressed audiences with their song “Doomsday Blue” at the 2024 Eurovision Song Contest, is kicking off their “Crown The Witch” tour this summer in the UK and Europe. After a concert on August 30 in Brighton, the artist will stage 24 more performances in between September and November, including in France, Germany and Spain, with a final show at Cork City Hall.
Bambie Thug has been showing their excitement for the upcoming tour, promising magic, music and more. Tickets will be available starting May 28. Fellow Irish musician Leyton can’t wait to see the artist on tour, calling their Eurovision performance “mesmerising”.
Bambie Thug’s trip to the UK and Europe will come after a performance on main stage of this year’s Download Festival. The event will feature sets by Soft Play, Creeper and Kerry King. Despite the excitement of being part of the event, Bambie Thug said they were nervous to play at Download: “I don’t fit into the standard box of what you would expect. To be given that opportunity again is incredible, but here’s this weirdo on stage, I hope they like it!”.
