The Palais Cinema in Glastonbury has announced its lineup for this year’s festival, which includes renowned actors Paul Mescal, Florence Pugh, and Andrew Scott. The films to be screened range from yet-to-be-released productions, documentaries on music, to classic cinema titles such as ‘Shaun of the Dead’ on its 20th anniversary. The stars will take part in Q&A sessions while some will introduce their films.

Simon Pegg and Edgar Wright will discuss their hit comedy, ‘Shaun of the Dead’, and Wright’s film ‘Baby Driver’. Mescal and Scott will reunite with director Andrew Haigh to talk about their recent film, ‘All Of Us Strangers’. Pugh will speak about ‘Dune Part 2’. Renowned actresses, Tilda Swinton and Cate Blanchett, will also participate in Q&As, with Swinton introducing her new film, ‘Problemista’, and Blanchett discussing her role in ‘I’m Not There’.

‘The Acolyte’, the first two episodes of the upcoming ‘Star Wars’ series, will be shown at the festival, along with other titles such as ‘Spinal Tap’ in honour of its 40th anniversary. The full synopsis of the films to be screened is available on the Glastonbury website.

Glastonbury Festival will be held from June 26 to 30, headlined by Dua Lipa, Coldplay, and SZA. Due to popular demand, the festival organizers introduced a payment plan scheme for attendees, making it the “highest percentage of ticket balances paid” and sold out within minutes. Among the surprises this year, the festival has announced a new stage to be named Arrivals which will showcase South Asian talent.
