During her headline set on the first night of Gulf Shores’ Hangout Festival last night, Lana Del Rey collaborated with Jelly Roll for a rendition of the Lynyrd Skynyrd classic, “Sweet Home Alabama.” Del Rey’s setlist included 16 tracks, and after singing with guests Tommy Genesis, Benson Boone, and Nessa Barrett, the singer chose to end the show with the cover. This came as Del Rey’s second collaboration with a country star in recent weeks, after performing “Unchained Melody” with Paul Cauthen at California’s Stagecoach Festival in April.

Jelly Roll, who recently teamed up with Limp Bizkit to perform The Who’s “Behind Blue Eyes” at Welcome to Rockville, joined Del Rey on stage for the Hangout Festival set. Del Rey previously headlined both weekends of Coachella 2024, where she was joined by guests Billie Eilish, Jon Batiste, Jack Antonoff, and Camila Cabello.

Despite recent criticisms about her headlining abilities, Del Rey continues to headline major festivals and sell-out shows. The singer is one of the headliners at Reading & Leeds 2024, alongside Liam Gallagher, Blink-182, Fred Again.., Gerry Cinnamon, and Catfish & The Bottlemen. The two festivals take place from August 21-25, and tickets are available for purchase. In addition, Del Rey is playing her first-ever US stadium headline show in Boston on June 20
