The pub and live music venue has given the station an ultimatum to move, or buy the venue outright for a deposit of £70,000. The station is now taking to crowdfunding to raise the deposit funds needed to secure the venue. The goal is to ensure that Bristol and those who support the station continue to have a place to go to listen to the music they love.
The fundraiser has been launched to lock down the mortgage offer and securing Zoggs’s place in Bristol. If the station fails to buy the building, the lease will come to an end. However, the landlord has given Noods Radio the opportunity to purchase the building first to ensure that the space can continue to serve the city.
