Willie Nelson, the renowned American country musician, has collaborated with his wife Annie to produce a cookbook titled “Willie & Annie Nelson’s Cannabis Cookbook”. It is set to be released on November 12 via Gallery Books. The book features 256 pages of “cannabis-infused delicacies” and will be an exciting way for fans to delve into the Nelson family’s story. Each recipe in the book contains cannabis and promises a relaxing buzz. There is an additional chapter that provides readers with cannabis-infused base ingredients, including cannabutter, finishing oil, simply syrups, sugars, salts, and tinctures.
The book includes easy and delicious recipes for Buffalo wings, chocolate cake, fried chicken, and other meals that are “only the good stuff”. According to an official description, the cookbook combines Willie’s “gift of storytelling and herbal remedies with his wife Annie’s passion for home-cooked meals”. This is the first cookbook that Nelson has produced, but he has previously written two memoirs that became New York Times bestsellers. These are “Willie: An Autobiography” (1988) and “The Facts Of Life And Other Dirty Jokes” (2003).
Although Willie Nelson stopped smoking marijuana in 2019 due to health concerns, he still vapes and eats edibles. He recently collaborated with Beyoncé on the song “Smoke Hour” from her latest studio album “Cowboy Carter”. In the coming weeks, he will embark on his North American “Outlaw Music Festival Tour” with Bob Dylan, performing across various regions in the country. Select shows will also feature performances by Robert Plant and Alison Krauss, John Mellencamp, Billy Strings, Brittney Spencer, and Celisse.
It is worth noting that in August 2021, Willie Nelson and Orville Peck collaborated on a cover of Ned Sublette’s “Cowboys Are Frequently Secretly Fond Of Each Other”. The song has since received numerous positive reviews and has become a favorite of Nelson fans
