Avril Lavigne to release greatest hits album ahead of Glastonbury 2024

Avril Lavigne has announced that she will be releasing a brand new 20-song greatest hits album set to drop on June 21. Lavigne has staked her claim as one of the most popular pop-rock artists of this generation with hit after hit being churned out over the years, and now she’s taking a moment to reflect on some of her biggest and best offerings in her career so far.

Fans will be delighted that the album features some of her biggest hits to date, including “Complicated”, which was certified three-times platinum by RIAA, and “Sk8er Boi”, certified two-times platinum, both taken from Lavigne’s renowned debut album “Let Go”. From her more recent work, Lavigne has included album seven’s “Love Sux”, including tracks like “Bite Me” and “Bois Lie”, which saw her collaborating with artists such as Machine Gun Kelly, and “I’m A Mess” featuring Yungblud.

In addition to CDs and digital formats, the album will also be released on 12-inch vinyl, with two editions available: black vinyl and a Target-exclusive neon green pressing. The vinyl version’s packaging will include new pictures of the singer and a detailed note to fans from Lavigne.

The release of the album comes just in time for Lavigne’s debut appearance at the legendary British music festival, Glastonbury. Lavigne fans are eagerly anticipating her brand new album, which has been years in the making.
