Hot Since 82 cancels shows following attempted armed attack in Brazil

UK-based DJ Hot Since 82, whose real name is Daley Padley, has cancelled upcoming festival appearances after an attempted attack in Rio De Janeiro. Padley announced on Instagram that a group of men pursued his tour vehicle armed with AK-47s after he left a show in the Brazilian city at around 5:00am. Padley added that while he won’t allow this experience to “tarnish” his love for Brazil, he won’t be performing at festivals scheduled later this year. Many of the musician’s fans in the UK responded with shock and concern for Padley’s well-being, with some calling for him to cancel all of his upcoming shows.
