During his show in Australia, Niall Horan surprised fans by bringing out folk and indie pop duo Angus & Julia Stone for a rendition of their track “Big Jet Plane”. The trio performed the 2010 hit from the duo’s second record ‘Down The Way’ at the Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney on May 1st. Horan took to Instagram to express his gratitude towards the Australian musicians for joining him on stage.
Horan is currently touring Australia in support of his third album, ‘The Show’. The next stop on his tour is Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on May 3 and 4. Meanwhile, Angus & Julia Stone released their latest single, titled “No Boat No Aeroplane”, which is the first from their upcoming sixth studio LP ‘Cape Forestier’. Speaking of the song in a press release, the duo shared that the track speaks to the concept of confronting challenges head-on, even if it means grappling with tumultuous currents, to lead to deeper comprehension of the unpredictable nature of the world.
The album is set for release on May 10 and is now available for pre-save and pre-order. The duo also recently announced a world tour beginning in 2024, featuring two dates in the UK, including a show at London’s iconic Royal Albert Hall on May 28. Tickets are already on sale for the tour
