L.B. Dub Corp enlists Burial on ‘Only The Good Times’ remix

Luke Slater, known as L.B. Dub Corp, has recruited Burial to remix his latest track ‘Only The Good Times’. The double tracker features one original cut that runs for four minutes, and a 10-minute remix from Burial. The original version of the track is set to appear on L.B. Dub Corp’s forthcoming album ‘Saturn to Home’. The eight-track release consists of artists such as Paul St. Hilaire, Robert Owens, Kittin, and Baal & Mortimer.

Only The Good Times is a deeply emotional track and became intertwined with love, according to Slater. Slater recorded ‘Arnol Kox’, a local legend in the Dutch city Eindhoven, preaching the track’s title, translated from Dutch. After Kox passed away in 2020, Slater decided to dedicate the song to the late fabled legend as a “heartfelt tribute.” This marks Slater’s first solo release as L.B. Dub Corp in five years.

Slater says of the release, “my immediate thought was to get Burial to remix it, not only because he is one of the most entrancing producers ever, but also because of our heartfelt connection and to get him away from his Playstation for ten seconds.” The limited white label vinyl cut is directly from the studio tape master.

The artwork for the album has also been released alongside the track. Listen to both ‘Only The Good Times’ and Burial’s remix through the Bandcamp link. The physical copy is available for pre-order via Dekmantel’s website.
