Wolfgang Van Halen made a surprise appearance during Slash and Myles Kennedy’s joint tour for a performance of AC/DC’s renowned track ‘Highway to Hell’. The performance took place during the final night of the tour on March 29, at Le Zenith in Paris, France. During the introduction, Kennedy, who was clearly pleased to have Van Halen join him on stage, commented, “We’re honoured that we’ve been able to tour with this next gentleman and his band, ’cause I think he’s one of the most talented people on the planet.”

Footage of the performance has since been shared online, with it featuring Slash on lead guitar and Kearns on lead vocals. Wolfgang Van Halen provided an exhilarating guitar solo, with both Kennedy and Van Halen joining Kearns for the chorus. Prior to the joint performance, Myles Kennedy had also joined Van Halen for a performance of the latter’s track ‘Take a Bow’.

The tour had included Mammoth WVH as the opening act, with Van Halen’s band gaining significant interest as a result of the tour. In related news, Wolfgang Van Halen was recently involved in a feud with David Lee Roth about his recent music, with Wolfgang responding in a recent interview, “I guess I’m honoured he even thinks about me as much as he seems to.”
