Cradle Of Filth has detailed their ‘By Order Of The Dragon’ 11-date tour across the UK and Ireland later this year, coinciding with Halloween. The tour features stops in Bristol, Bournemouth, Birmingham, London, Swansea, Manchester, Nottingham, Belfast, Dublin, Glasgow, and Newcastle, and includes a performance at the Manchester Damnation Festival. Butcher Babies and High Parasite will serve as support acts for the tour.
Frontman Dani Filth had previously revealed in 2021 that the band was working with Ed Sheeran on a collaboration. Filth provided an update on the track in an interview with a Polish YouTube channel, announcing that Sheeran will guest appear on a song in their upcoming album. A 2022 interview revealed that Sheeran had sent Filth “Three or Four tracks” that he is arranged and developed with longtime collaborator Scott Atkins.
In addition, band members Marek “Ashok” Šmerda and Zoë M. Federoff have recently announced their engagement on a New Year’s post on social media.
