Stevie Cox has announced that she will be releasing her new EP, ‘Jecht Shot’, via Remmah Records. The EP, which is set to be released on May 10th, showcases Cox’s full production capabilities. This follows her previous work, ‘Expansion EP’, which was published by Optimo Music. The forthcoming record features three tracks, with the opening titular track being a combination of melodic drum ‘n’ bass and rhythmic sensibilities.
‘Midnight With DC’ takes a trance-infused, cosmic bend before acid is added and Cooper Saver takes on remix duties for ‘Jecht Shot’. The producer, who is based in Canada, turns the breaks into a more hypnotic cut that resonates with Cox and her unique sound. She explains, “Really happy to be back on the label with something a wee bit different. I’m even happier to have one of the best about – the ridiculously talented Cooper Saver – on board too!”
