Louis Tomlinson has surprised his fans by releasing an album titled ‘Live,’ which features some of his tracks recorded at 15 live shows across 15 different cities. The album comprises performances from his ‘Louis Tomlinson World Tour’ and ‘Faith in the Future World Tour’ over the past three years, where he played almost 200 shows globally. The 15 songs included in the album’s tracklist were recorded in different cities, each at a different show from the three-year tour run. The tracks have been released live for the first time and include some of his singles such as ‘Bigger Than Me’, ‘We Made It, ‘Walls’, and ‘Out Of My System’, along with some popular fan tracks.
The album is available in both digital and physical formats and includes four exclusive tracks on the CD version, including a unique version of One Direction’s classic ‘Where Do Broken Hearts Go’. In a statement, Louis Tomlinson expressed his gratitude, saying, “I’ve been lucky enough to spend the last three years touring the world twice over. The feeling I get sharing those live moments will be with me forever. To be able to record these songs from all over the world and put them out as an album like this feels so special, and a real tribute to the fans who make each and every show feel unique and incredible. The release of ‘Live’ is supported by video clips compiled from Tomlinson’s tour footage. The video clips showcasing his past three years on the road features 170 performances and will be shared on his social media channels for his fans to enjoy. The physical editions of ‘Live’ features exclusive tracks not available on the digital version.
Since leaving One Direction, Louis Tomlinson has shared two solo albums, ‘Walls’ and ‘Faith in the Future’, which has sold more than 1.5 million copies. ‘Faith In The Future’ went to Number One in the UK, Spain and Belgium, and Top 5 in the USA, Australia, New Zealand, and across Europe. The ‘Faith In The Future World Tour’ started in May 2021 and is set to end next month with its final leg in South America. He has a series of festival appearances lined up for the summer.
Louis Tomlinson, alongside Courteeners and English Teacher, was among the acts that received an award at the first-ever Northern Music Awards. Tomlinson was honoured as Artist Of The Year during the inaugural ceremony hosted by Nordoff And Robbins. The event celebrated northern artists, venues, festivals, and industry figures.
