Everton Premier League Club manager Sean Dyche has recommended that everyone should go and see Green Day perform live, regardless of their music preferences. Speaking as a guest on the Football Music & Me podcast, Dyche shared some details about past concerts he has attended, including Metallica, Foo Fighters, Rihanna, Pink, and The Hives at Glastonbury. He even recalled a gig he went to with Stuart Pearce to watch Green Day, saying that Pearce had almost bullied him into going. “You can’t not like it,” Dyche said on the podcast. “That’s my advice for you: anyone who’s not seen Green Day, I don’t care what music you’re into, just buy a ticket and see Green Day.”

Green Day recently released their 14th studio album, Saviors, which has received positive reviews. NME awarded the LP four stars and praised the album for spiritually bridging the gap between Dookie and American Idiot. The pop-punk icons have also offered a taster of their upcoming world tour by playing their seminal albums Dookie and American Idiot in full at an intimate club show in Los Angeles.

Football Music & Me is hosted by Geoff Shreeves on The Overlap’s YouTube channel. During the podcast, Dyche also discussed his views on other topics, such as dress codes and meeting Elton John. The Overlap YouTube channel features various other interviews with guests from the football world.

Dyche is currently the manager of Everton, having taken over the role in December 2021. Prior to this, he was the manager of Burnley for almost a decade. He is also a former professional footballer who played for various clubs, including Chesterfield, Bristol City, and Northampton Town. During his playing career, Dyche was primarily a central defender
