Twenty One Pilots have confirmed that they will be delaying the release of their album ‘Clancy’. Instead, they will focus on creating music videos for each of the album’s tracks. The duo originally planned to release ‘Clancy’ on May 17 but have moved the release date back a week to May 24. Lead vocalist Tyler Joseph explained that he wanted to create videos for all tracks on the album because he believes in the songs and loves them.
Twenty One Pilots first announced their intentions to shoot videos for every track in March. They have already finished work on eight of the videos, with seven more in progress. Even though the album features only 13 tracks, the band confirmed that they have shot two extra videos. One of the songs will also have two versions. Tyler stated that not all of the videos will be as cinematic as the lead single ‘Overcompensate’. Instead, some will take a “lower budget DIY” approach.
The band’s ‘Clancy’ tracklist includes songs like ‘Overcompensate’, ‘Midwest Indigo’, ‘Navigating’, and ‘The Craving’. The band will also be going on a huge world tour, taking in the UK, Europe, the US, and Australia in 2024 and 2025.
Last year, Shania Twain also revealed that she was thrilled with Tyler Joseph’s contribution to her sixth album ‘Queen of Me’. Joseph joined her in the making of the track ‘The Hardest Stone’ on this album.
