Actor Tom Holland has confirmed that he will be returning for the next Marvel Cinematic Universe Spider-Man movie. Holland has played the superhero in three lead entries thus far: Homecoming, Far From Home, and most recently, No Way Home. He has also appeared in other Marvel movies, including Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. Holland’s appearance at the Sands International Film Festival in St. Andrews, Scotland included his disclosure of his upcoming role in an Spider-Man movie.
Holland commented, “I owe my life and career to Spider-Man. So the simple answer is yes, I’ll always want to do more.” Holland noted that this is the first time in this process that he has been part of the creative process so early. He is excited to watch and learn. “The third movie was so special in so many ways that we need to make sure we do the right thing.” Holland continues to express that they have the best in the business working on whatever the story might be.
Director Sam Raimi recently addressed the rumors that he might be connected to the upcoming Spider-Man movie. Raimi stated that he had not heard anything official from Marvel about the project. In other recent Tom Holland news, tickets for his new stage adaptation of Romeo & Juliet recently went on sale. The show was announced in February and is presented by The Jamie Lloyd Company. The twelve-week run totally sold out in under two hours, and the production will reportedly be transferring to Broadway after its London run finishes.
