Victoria Beckham’s 50th birthday party reunited all five members of the Spice Girls but it wasn’t for a concert. The pop stars celebrated in London performing their hit song “Stop” while Victoria’s husband, David Beckham, watched and sang along with them. He later shared the moment on his Instagram page. Victoria also shared the moment in her Instagram stories.
Before the party, Victoria shared a series of photos on Instagram of her family, including her husband and children. Beckham and his three sons were all dressed in tuxedos. Victoria opted for a light green ball gown, while Harper wore a cream floor-length dress. Although she had been pictured on crutches before the party, she didn’t use them in the photos she shared on social media.
Fans were delighted to see the five Spice Girls together again. Many commented on Beckham’s post expressing their enthusiasm. Some also pleaded with the band to go on tour again. Bookmaker Coral even slashed the odds of an official Spice Girls reunion in 2024, including a Glastonbury performance and new album in 2025, following the birthday celebration’s performance.
The Spice Girls were formed in 1994 after responding to an advertisement for candidates to form an all-girl group. Their self-styled “Girl Power” mantra made them a global pop culture phenomenon, with their debut single “Wannabe” topping charts in 1996. In total, the group scored nine UK number one hits, including “Say You’ll Be There,” “2 Become 1,” “Who Do You Think You Are,” “Spice Up Your Life,” and “Viva Forever.” Geri Halliwell left the group in 1998, and the group finally disbanded in 2001.
