Taylor Swift’s latest album ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ has been streamed over 300 million times in a day on Spotify. It broke the record for the most-streamed album in a day, which was previously held by her re-recorded version of ‘1989’. Spotify announced on social media: “History made! And now the story isn’t mine anymore… it’s all yours.”
Artists like Charlie Puth, The Blue Nile, Lucy Dacus, Patti Smith, Dylan Thomas, and possibly Kim Kardashian all received a shout-out on the album. Fans speculated that many of the songs address her brief romantic relationship with The 1975’s Matty Healy. Elsewhere, hundreds of Taylor Swift fans have swarmed London pub after album shout-out, as The Black Dog check CCTV for clues of her ex
