David Beckham shares video of private Spice Girls reunion for Victoria’s 50th birthday celebrations

Victoria Beckham celebrated her 50th birthday in 2019, and her husband, David Beckham, shared a video on Instagram of her birthday party which included a reunion of all five Spice Girls. The video showed Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton, Mel B, Melanie C, and Victoria singing and dancing along to their 1998 single ‘Stop’. Beckham’s caption simply read “I mean come on x.” Tom Cruise and Eva Longoria, among others, also attended the private party in Mayfair, as reported by The Daily Mail.

Mel B previously hinted that the Spice Girls will be doing something for their 30th anniversary in 2024. Fans were initially speculating that the group would be performing at Glastonbury, but Shania Twain was later announced to fill the slot instead. However, Scary Spice says that it is too early to dismiss the idea of a Glastonbury performance. The group reunited previously in 2007, 2012, and 2018, with their first split happening in 2000. In 2019, Mel B, Halliwell, Bunton, and Mel C toured without Beckham for the first time in 11 years in a 10-stop UK and Ireland stadium tour.

The COVID-19 pandemic put a pause on the group’s 25th-anniversary world tour in 2020. However, rumours are emerging about the potential for the Spice Girls to make another live comeback in 2023 that includes Beckham.
