After an energetic and flawless performance at the second weekend of Coachella, Lana Del Rey surprised the crowd by bringing out Camila Cabello. The two artists teamed up to perform Cabello’s chart-topping hit ‘I Luv It.” During the performance, Cabello showed off her dance moves, while Del Rey played from the balcony on stage. Fans were surprised by the singer’s collaboration with Cabello, hoping for a return of Billie Eilish or a visit from Taylor Swift.
As Cabello took to the stage, she announced to the audience, “I need you to make some motherfucking noise if you love Lana Del Rey with all your motherfucking heart!”. After their performance, Del Rey revealed how much she enjoyed collaborating with Cabello, stating, “I had so much fun with her, I love this girl to bits. Thank you for bringing the energy.”
Del Rey’s headline performance during the second weekend of Coachella was much smoother than her first edition, where she had experienced significant microphone issues. Jon Batiste and Jack Antonoff, who Del Rey also played with during the first weekend, returned to the stage to join her for the second weekend.
In other news, Lana Del Rey recently hit out at her ex-tour manager on social media. She accused her previous manager of quitting for no reason, stating that they were jealous that she was able to acquire a motorcade of ten motorcycles for her viral entrance to the stage during Coachella. The artist also revealed that she had suffered from laryngitis before performing at Coachella. It only cleared hours before she took to the stage, thanks to Tessa DiPietro’s body intuition skills. Despite the challenges, she’s received glowing reviews for her Coachella sets, with NME hailing her performance as “something artful rather than gimmicky.
