Bad Omens has announced their latest music collaboration for their single ‘The Drain’ featuring HEALTH and Swarm. The track is a mix of loud synth beats and booming drum samples. The song also includes a sample of their music from 2022 titled ‘The Death Of Peace Of Mind,’ and presents lyrics reflecting upon the theme of loss. Jacob Duzsik from HEALTH and Noah Sebastian from Bad Omens feature as vocalists on the track.
A press release regarding the track noted that it is a result of the energy between the musical entities that drew upon their individual distinct sonic profiles. Bad Omens also revealed that New York-based producer, composer, and sound designer, So Wylie created a hypnotic remix for ‘The Death Of Peace Of Mind’ upon discovering it on social media which led to the decision to feature it in the band’s project, ‘Concrete Jungle [The OST].’
‘Concrete Jungle [The OST]’ is announced to release on May 31. The project is described as an experimental extension of Bad Omens’ 2022’s album ‘The Death Of Peace Of Mind’ and acts as a soundtrack to their ‘Concrete Jungle’ comic book universe. Collaboration with some acts like Bob Vylan, Wargasm, Jenny (Let’s Eat Grandma), and others has been highlighted in the project.
Bad Omens’ ‘Concrete Jungle [The OST]’ tracklist consists of 26 tracks that feature artists like Poppy, Chief, Thousand Below, Dahlia, and others in addition to the multi-genre experimentation by the band.
Bad Omens and Poppy have recently played their collaborative track, ‘V.A.N.,’ live for the first time in Berlin at the start of this year on January 27. The band is presently on an American tour starting from April 21, with more tour dates scheduled throughout May, June, and July across other countries in Europe and around the world.
Bad Omens also announced a co-headlined performance featuring BABYMETAL at France’s Zénith Toulouse Métropole on June 23, 2024. The event is anticipated by the members to bring forward an unforgettable show
