On a related note, Murphy has revealed his willingness to return to the role of Tommy Shelby in a movie adaptation of “Peaky Blinders,” a role he played for ten years over six seasons of the critically acclaimed show. He said that he would be there if the scriptwriter Steven Knight delivers a script that he approves of. He further adds that if audiences want to see a 50-year-old Tommy Shelby, he will be interested in portraying the character.
