FC Barcelona launches new kit with Karol G

FC Barcelona has collaborated with Colombian singer Karol G to design a new kit for the team. The signature navy and maroon shirts have been updated to include Karol G’s spiked-heart logo on the front. Players wore the shirts during the women’s football game against Villarreal on April 13. The men’s team will also wear the limited-edition shirts during the upcoming Clásico game on April 21.

Karol G has also designed exclusive merch for her fans under the name “KC Barca”. The merch features her logo on the chest and can be found on her website. In an Instagram reel, Karol G revealed that the “heart symbol represents what became ‘Bichota’ style, a moment in my life where I found strength, resilience and support. Thanks to Spotify and FC Barcelona, seeing it on the front of a shirt that inspires so much of that same energy is truly meaningful.”

FC Barcelona has collaborated with artists in the past to release special kits. The Rolling Stones designed a kit to celebrate the release of their latest album ‘Hackney Diamonds’ in 2020. Drake also worked with FC Barcelona to release a limited-edition OVO Sound shirt in honor of becoming the first artist to reach 50 billion streams on Spotify.

Karol G is set to tour the UK/EU in 2022, performing songs from her newest album ‘Mañana Será Bonito (Bichota Season)’. Tickets can be found on Ticketmaster, and dates are as follows: Zurich on June 8, Cologne on June 11, Amsterdam on June 14, London on June 18, Paris on June 22, Milan on June 25, and Antwerp on June 29. In July, she will continue her tour in Berlin on July 2, Lisbon on July 7, and Madrid on July 20
