Suki Waterhouse surprises fans with the release of two new singles, “My Fun” and “Faded”, just ahead of her highly anticipated performance at Coachella. The singer, actress and model took to social media to share the news with her followers on April 11th. She confirmed that both tracks would be part of her upcoming album, for which details are currently undisclosed. Waterhouse had previously teased the release of “My Fun” on Instagram, but “Faded” came as a surprise.
Both tracks feature visualizers directed and animated by Callum Scott-Dyson. Both use cut-out artwork and imagery, but “My Fun” is awash with saturated, colourful themes while “Faded” presents somewhat washed-out visuals. Fans can listen to both tracks on her official YouTube channel.
Suki Waterhouse’s performance at Coachella will close out the Gobi stage on Friday, April 12th. She will also perform again on April 19th. Her two new tracks have generated significant buzz, and fans not travelling to the festival are likely to be chomping at the bit for her upcoming album.
