UK metalcore band Architects have released a new single titled ‘Curse’. The single was produced by Jordan Fish, former Bring Me The Horizon member. In December, Bring Me The Horizon announced that they were parting ways with Fish. Since then, Fish has been working on new music, including producing for Architects and possibly collaborating with Spiritbox.
‘Curse’ is Architects’ first release since their single ‘Seeing Red’ in January. The song features a mix of brutal metal sections and a catchy chorus. The song’s lyrics include the lines: “I give you my word/In the times I’ve had enough/I still wish for the worst/As free as a bird/But the days keep crossing off/Heaven came with a curse.”
Architects teased fans with the single’s release on social media by sharing an image of the band’s “A” logo with the song’s title. Fans noticed that Fish was tagged in the post and suspected that he had produced the song. Fish announced his exit from Bring Me The Horizon and is excited about starting this next chapter of his career.
