Bring Me The Horizon tease their new album: “It’s time for a new era”

British rock band Bring Me The Horizon has begun teasing their new album, ‘Post Human: NeX GEn’. After delaying the album’s release due to unforeseen circumstances, the band posted a short clip on their socials, indicating that “it’s time for a new era”. The teaser video is futuristic and says, “You cling to your virtual identity as if it were your very soul. Pathetic. It’s time for a new era. Initialising NeX GEn.” Through this, the band has confirmed that they will release the album, and fans all around the world are excited about it.

Frontman Oli Sykes had revealed the news of the album during their headlining Download set in June 2023. The new album will be the follow-up to 2020’s ‘POST HUMAN: SURVIVAL HORROR’. Oli spoke to NME last year and explained the inspiration and sound of the new album. He made it clear that the upcoming album is ‘unhinged’ and that he wants it to be more aggressive and less polished. Oli’s love for hyper-pop music has influenced the band’s sound for their upcoming album.

The band has also released a couple of singles from the album, including Kool-Aid, DarkSide, LosT, AmEN!, DiE4u, and sTraNgeRs. Fans have been eagerly anticipating the release of ‘Post Human: NeX GEn.’ The title of the album suggests that it will explore what it means to be human in a world dominated by technology. It will be their first album without longtime member Jordan Fish, who announced his sudden departure at the end of December 2023. Fish had been part of the band since 2012.

According to their social media post, fans can expect the album to release on June 4, 2024. The band has also stated that the album will be their best yet and worth the wait. Bring Me The Horizon’s new album will be a great addition to their discography, and fans can’t wait for its release
