General Levy says he has never received royalties for jungle anthem ‘Incredible’

General Levy, the MC who featured on M-Beat’s ‘Incredible’, has claimed that he has never received royalties for the 1994 track. The song is regarded as a jungle classic and reached number 39 in the UK Singles Chart. Following its re-release by London Records, it reached number eight on the UK charts.
In an interview with DJ Mag, Levy claimed that he has not received any royalties statement from London Records or Renk Records for the single despite making enquiries about it. It is a potentially embarrassing matter for the record labels involved and raises questions about whether such recordings go through appropriate due diligence before being released or remixed
