‘Game Of Thrones’ actor Joseph Gatt sues City of Los Angeles, LAPD and District Attorney over false paedophile charges

Game of Thrones star Joseph Gatt has filed a $40 million lawsuit against several entities, which include the LAPD and L.A. District Attorney George Gascón due to untrue paedophile allegations. The suit claims that law enforcement manages to destroy his reputation and career overnight.

Gatt played the Thenn Warg in season four of the popular HBO fantasy series. The lawsuit shows that the defendants publicly labeled him a serial paedophile. Gatt firmly claimed Deputy District Attorney Angela Brunson held a personal bias and animosity against him.

The actor was arrested in April 2022, and the charges uncovered were based on false evidence, making law enforcement label Gatt as a paedophile publicly. The allegations occurred due to a Cameo Gatt recorded for a 16-year-old fan’s birthday. The Fan, who lived in Washington State, instantly contacted Gatt on Instagram, and the actor seems to have replied appropriately.

Gatt’s lawyer claims the fabricated allegations resulted from the defendants’ failure to interview or remotely assess any credibility until almost a year after the actor’s arrest. The DA voluntarily withdrew the criminal charges after 20 months and led to the lawsuit against the several defendants.

Joseph Gatt expressed his loss of personal reputation, acting career, and community. Gatt aims to recover everything through the courts.
