Charli XCX is set to headline her largest UK tour to date in November 2022, with four arena shows scheduled across Manchester, London, Birmingham, and Glasgow. The upcoming tour, which also features rapper Shygirl as a special guest, comes in support of her upcoming sixth studio album ‘BRAT.’ Fans who purchase the album by April 9th will receive access to a pre-sale that begins on April 10th, with general sales opening up on April 12th.
Charli XCX has already previewed some of the music from ‘BRAT’ via release of two singles, ‘Club Classics,’ and ‘B2B.’ Both tracks, which showcase two very different sounds, were released earlier in April. Speaking about ‘BRAT,’ Charli has said that the album is “kind of bitchy and gossipy and hardcore and very club feeling.” Adding that “it’s definitely one for the girls who like to party and sweat and rave.” Charli XCX is also set to perform shows and DJ sets throughout the US, Europe and South America in summer 2022, including a performance at Radio 1’s Big Weekend in May.
Charli XCX revealed the details of the tour on her Instagram page, writing “UK LET’S RAVE!!! Pre-order BRAT for early access to UK tour presale. From now until 9th April @ 3PM BST. With special guest @0800shygirl : ).” The singer’s followers have been eagerly anticipating ‘BRAT’ ever since the release of 2022’s ‘CRASH,’ and it looks like the new album will be worth the wait
