Leigh-Anne, the former Little Mix singer, has announced her first solo headline show, which will take place at an intimate venue in London. It comes as the artist prepares to release a collection of songs, some of which will be her first since launching her solo career last year. For the show, she will headline the Lafayette venue in London on June 11th, and tickets for the event will go on sale at 10am this Friday, April 5th.
Leigh-Anne shared her excitement about the news in a recent statement, saying: “I’ve been dying to do a show of my own for the longest time and now that my first project ‘No Hard Feelings’ is nearly here, it’s time to bring it to the stage.” She went on to explain that she felt it was fitting to start in London, a city which held many special moments and memories for her. Before announcing any more shows, she felt she should stay true to her home city and do something intimate with her legion.
Just days before the announcement of the headline gig, Leigh-Anne shared her new track ‘Stealin’ Love’, the first from a collection of songs she has on the way. The R&B-flavoured electro-pop hit was produced by Ian Kirkpatrick and written by Leigh-Anne, along with Jermaine Jackson, Philip Plested, and RØMANS. Speaking about the inspiration behind the song, Leigh-Anne said, “Stealin’ Love’ speaks to those times when you feel like you are pouring so much love into someone and not getting what you need back. I think it’s incredibly powerful to be open and honest about these moments.”
Leigh-Anne launched her solo career in 2020 with ‘Don’t Say Love’, a garage and house-inspired track produced by Jon Bellion and Pete Nappi. That was then followed up with the Ayra Starr-assisted ‘My Love’. The singer hinted at the time that her debut solo album might be a 2024 release, saying she wanted to tour and perform as much as possible. But, more recently, she has been working on her album and last month shared an update with her fans, saying that “Shit’s about to get very real
