Zooey Deschanel denies nepotism, insisting having six-time Oscar nominee dad didn’t advance her career

Zooey Deschanel has opened up about the influence her family had on her acting career. The New Girl actress has been dubbed a “nepo baby” due to her father’s work as a cinematographer on big budget films. Caleb’s film credits include The Lion King, The Passion of Christ, The Godfather, and Titanic, and he has received six Oscar nominations throughout his career. Zooey’s latest project, the animated film Trolls World Tour, was released on April 10th, 2020. She voiced the enthusiastic and optimistic character of Bridget in the film
