Becky Hill has unveiled her latest single, ‘Outside of Love’. Collaborating with the Italian producer twosome PARISI, Hill describes the ballad as being “big anthemic dance” with “fresh underground production” in a press release. ‘Outside of Love’ is one of the latest singles that will be included on Hill’s upcoming album, ‘Believe Me Now?’, which is due for release on May 31st. The new album will include her Chase & Status collaboration ‘Disconnect’, as well as previously released singles ‘Side Effects’ and ‘Never Be Alone’.
Hill co-wrote the track with Mike Kintish, Charlotte Haining, and producer duo PARISI (Fred again.. and Swedish House Mafia). Upon the release, Hill said in a statement, “I really hope people connect to this frustrated and isolated love song and still feel like they wanna dance their way through the shared sadness”.
In an interview with NME, Hill spoke about feeling like she has finally put the “girl next door” image behind her, which has helped shape the tracks on the album. ‘Believe Me Now?’ is a follow-up to the album ‘Only Honest On The Weekend’, released in 2021. Speaking about her album title and what inspired it, Hill said “it’s directed at the people who didn’t believe me when I was younger and made me feel like I had to work to prove my innocence in that situation.”
Hill will be embarking on her first UK arena tour this October. It will include performances in Glasgow, Newcastle, Nottingham, Leeds, Exeter, Birmingham, Manchester, Cardiff, and London. As well as the tour, Hill is set to appear at several festivals this summer, including Parklife, Boardmasters, and Big Feastival. Hill will also be headlining Manchester’s Parklife Festival and BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend in Luton
