Liam Gallagher has hinted that a second album with John Squire may be on the cards. The former Oasis frontman shared his excitement about touring with the former Stone Roses guitarist in an Instagram reel for their recent show in London. Gallagher joked about having to be on top of his game while sharing the stage with Squire, saying, “the band is top so I’ve got to be right on my f*****g game. Hence why I’m having face packs and early nights.” The duo recently finished their UK/Ireland leg of performances, with plans to embark on their international leg in April.

Meanwhile, Squire emphasised his hopes for their joint self-titled album, explaining: “Hopefully it’s one of those records that’s got legs and stays around for a while.” To which Gallagher replied, “I think it’s got legs, man. It could be a good thing, and it’d be rude not to do another album.” The joint album received four stars from NME, with the magazine dubbing it a “triumph of style and mood”.

The duo’s 30-second sell-out tour throughout the UK and Ireland, which saw them perform in intimate venues, earned four stars from NME as well, which observed that the performance was masterful and refreshing. Gallagher will shortly be touring the 30th anniversary of Oasis’ `Definitely Maybe.’ He will be playing the full album — along with some “naughty” B-sides — starting in Sheffield on June 2.
