Frontman Joe Talbot spoke about the importance of love in IDLES’ latest album. In a recent interview, he said, “I’m interested in showing the different facets of love that are not so conventional, but are very f****** important: empathy, patience, honesty, communion, hard work, recovery, forgiveness. That’s what I wrote about. I’m still there. I’m still going to need to go through it, and I’m still very much interested in writing about love forevermore. I find it fascinating and empowering.” Fans can expect to experience this message of love during the tour.
IDLES’ Tangk was released last year and has been described as their most open-hearted album yet. NME gave the record a four-star review, praising its message of love. The album has been critically acclaimed since its release, with fans praising the band’s unique sound. IDLES fans can purchase tickets to the UK and Ireland tour via Ticketmaster
