P. Diddy’s homes raided by US Homeland Security amid sex trafficking investigation

On Monday, March 25, federal agents reportedly raided two residences owned by P. Diddy, also known as Sean Combs, in Miami and Los Angeles. Reports suggest that the raids were conducted as part of an ongoing investigation into sex trafficking by US Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), although it has not been confirmed if Combs is the subject of the investigation.

According to a statement released by HSI, law enforcement actions were executed with the assistance of local law enforcement partners. Reports from Fox 11 suggest that several people were detained at Combs’ LA home, while TMZ published images of Combs walking around Miami during the raids, suggesting that he was not present at the time.

NBC News has reported that several phones were seized from Combs in Miami before he was scheduled to depart on a trip to the Bahamas. The rapper and entrepreneur has previously faced accusations of physical abuse, rape, and sex trafficking. In November 2020, Cassie, Combs’ ex-girlfriend, filed a lawsuit against him, alleging that he had committed various acts of abuse. Both parties reached a private settlement within 24 hours of the lawsuit being filed.

Following this, more women came forward with allegations of rape, sex trafficking, battery, and revenge porn committed by Combs, among others. Many of the lawsuits filed were under New York’s Adult Survivors Act, with most incidents allegedly taking place in the early 1990s. Last month, producer Rodney Jones, also known as Lil Rod, filed a lawsuit against Combs accusing him of sexual assault, harassment, and not compensating him for work on his Grammy-nominated album from 2023, ‘The Love Album: Off the Grid’. Combs has denied the claims, and the two parties are yet to reach a settlement.
