Young Fathers to curate and headline Stirling City Park all-dayer this summer

Stirling City Park will host a new all-day festival this summer, curated and headlined by Scottish trio Young Fathers. The festival will be the band’s biggest headline show in Scotland to date, and it will take place on June 29th with additional guests still to be announced. Tickets for the festival will go on sale on Wednesday, March 27th via Ticketmaster.

Before returning home to perform at the festival, Young Fathers will embark on a US tour. The tour kicks off on April 3rd in Cambridge, Massachusetts, and will see the band play shows in cities including New York, Chicago, and San Francisco.

The band’s latest release, Heavy Heavy, has garnered critical acclaim, with NME awarding the album five stars. Talking to NME at the BRIT Awards, the band discussed the response to Heavy Heavy, saying, “I think when you make something that’s great and people resonate with it, all these things sort of snowball. I think it’s all been positive, so it’s great. We’ll just ride the wave, then get back in the studio and do it all again.”

In addition to curating and headlining the festival in Stirling, Young Fathers will also headline London’s Wide Awake festival later this year, adding to a string of successful performances both at home and abroad
