Remy Gordon and Kami Carpenter have been found guilty of the fatal stabbing of 23-year-old Cody Fisher on the dance floor of Crane, a Birmingham nightclub last December. The BBC reports that both men appeared at Birmingham Crown Court on Monday, March 26, where they were found guilty of the murder of Fisher, while a third suspect, a 19-year-old, was acquitted. Just days after Fisher was murdered, Gordon was arrested in Birmingham and Carpenter was arrested in London.

Fisher, who was a non-league footballer and school sports coach, was attacked with a zombie knife by a group of masked men on the dance floor. Around 2,000 people were attending Crane that night. Fisher was accompanied by his girlfriend and best friend who were there to see Italian DJ Marco Carola. The knife reportedly passed cursory security checks and was smuggled into the club.
