Indie duo The Kills has expanded their upcoming 2024 UK and Europe tour with additional shows. Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince will showcase their latest album, “God Games,” during the tour. The duo enjoyed a successful and busy US leg of the tour, which featured Heartworms as a support act.
The Kills has announced new tour dates for August in addition to their previously publicized performances. The new shows will take place in Cologne and Hamburg and will conclude at Manchester’s Albert Hall. London and Manchester will be the only UK stops for the ‘God Games’ tour.
The Kills’ UK & EU 2024 Tour dates are May 1, Troxy in London; May 3, L’Olympia in Paris, France; May 4, Ancienne Belgique in Brussels, Belgium; May 5, Paradiso in Amsterdam, Netherlands; May 7, Columbiahalle in Berlin, Germany and May 8, Stodola in Warsaw, Poland. In August, they will perform on the 11th in Hamburg, Germany, and on the 13th in Cologne, Carlswerk Victoria, with the tour ending on the 21st in Manchester, UK, at Albert Hall. The Kills’ hip-hop-infused ‘God Games’ album was released in 2023. According to NME, the album was “a testament to their new era, one that sees them push each other out of their comfort zones and explore new ways to keep adapting their iconic sound, providing a grand and edgy comeback that is as fresh as can be.” In an interview, The Kills spoke about how their music style has changed, and how writing on a keyboard rather than guitar has transformed their songwriting
