Cat Burns announces debut album ‘Early Twenties’ with 2024 UK and European tour

South London’s Cat Burns has revealed the details of her debut album Early Twenties alongside several new UK and European tour dates. The BRIT-nominated artist shared this news after releasing her latest single Alone, which was co-written and produced by Steve Mac (Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Charli XCX) that added to her swiftly rising status. The LP is set to arrive on 12 July via Since ’93/Sony RCA, marking a noteworthy moment in her career.

Cat Burns said in a press release, “‘Early Twenties’ is my love letter to this period of time in my life. It’s my attempt at showcasing the highs and lows of being in your early twenties. The album talks about romantic relationships, both my own and people closest to me, whilst also speaking about self-introspection and accepting who you are.” The album’s availability for pre-order is now live.

In concurrence with the announcement of her debut album, Cat Burns has also announced UK and European tour plans beginning 6th October in Amsterdam’s Melkweg venue. The tour named ‘Early Twenties’ will play out across German, Belgium, and Paris before heading over to the UK for several shows. The UK shows will begin with the O2 Academy in Birmingham and continue with follow-up shows in Bristol, Glasgow, Manchester, culminating at London’s Roundhouse on 18 October. Tickets will go on sale next Thursday.

Moreover, Cat Burns will also perform at several summer festivals, including In It Together, Radio 1’s Big Weekend, Mighty Hoopla, and The Big Feastival.
