Grammy-award winning artist Usher has announced an additional London concert for his upcoming tour. The ‘Yeah!’ singer had initially scheduled just three concerts at The O2 for April 1, 2, and 5. However, due to high demand, he added three more shows on April 6, 8, and 9. Later, two further gigs were added for May 6 and 7 before a final gig for March 29. All nine dates have already sold out, generating huge demand for the forthcoming concerts.
The London shows are part of Usher’s worldwide ‘Past Present Future’ tour in support of his ninth studio album ‘Coming Home’ which will take place in 2025. Prior to this, he is set to perform an extensive run of shows in North America starting in Atlanta in August 2024. Post his London gigs in April, he will headline arenas in Paris, Amsterdam, and Berlin.
Fans can access ticket details for the London concerts and other shows on the tour via a fan presale, which starts on Wednesday, March 20. Usher expresses his excitement and surprise over the demand, adding: “Y’all not playing games! I’ve added a 10th and final show in London due to incredible demand. Can’t wait to bring Usher: Past Present Future to The O2 on 29th March.”
Usher has already made news this year by performing at the Super Bowl Halftime Show in Vegas. Following his performance, the R&B icon spoke about why his friend and longtime collaborator Justin Bieber wasn’t a part of the show and reportedly earned just $671 (£529) from the event.
The singer will next perform his 2004 album ‘Confessions’ in full at the Lovers And Friends Festival in Las Vegas, Nevada on May 14 before he embarks on his extensive tour
