Reba McEntire, the renowned country singer, has responded to allegations that she called Taylor Swift an “entitled little brat”. The claims emerged through a widely shared Facebook post, where McEntire was quoted criticising Swift for reportedly laughing and drinking during McEntire’s performance of the US National Anthem at the 2024 Super Bowl.
But McEntire took to Instagram to refute the allegations. In her post, she urged people not to believe everything they see on the internet and confirmed that she did not say what the post had claimed. McEntire went on to praise Taylor Swift, stating that she is a fantastic artist, a role model, and that she has done a lot of good for the music industry and countless people.
This is not the first time McEntire has spoken positively about Swift.
