Music mogul Dr. Dre has recently revealed that he suffered a brain aneurysm in early January and had three resultant strokes. During his interview with James Corden on SiriusXM’s This Life Of Mine, Dre disclosed the details of his health scare. He narrated that he began experiencing symptoms and believed he could take a nap. His son and a female friend took him to the hospital when they realized what was happening. He then passed out and found himself in the ICU.
Dre stayed at the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for two weeks. During that period, he endured three strokes, and the doctors were briefing him on how lucky they were not to have lost him. When Dre inquired about how he might have avoided the situation, nobody had an answer. He now believes that the cause of the problem was high blood pressure, which he believes is a “silent killer” in Black men.
The record producer stated that having an aneurysm makes him appreciate his life even more, and high blood pressure is one problem he cannot control. Although Dre recognizes that he had no control over the situation, he warns others to be wary of high blood pressure.
Dre’s comments come after he announced that he had sold his upcoming album’s rights, including his iconic album’s Chronic Master. Dre’s health scare alarmed his fans and raised concerns about his wellbeing. Despite this, he encouraged others to take their health seriously and appreciate their lives.
In conclusion, Dre’s interview with James Corden has provided insight into his recent health scare. The record producer is grateful to be alive and encourages others to take care of their health
