The renowned rapper made an appearance on James Corden’s SiriusXM show “This Life of Mine” where he shared the details of his ordeal and described hearing a loud pop behind his right ear followed by unbearable pain. He later learned that he had suffered from three strokes in the two weeks that followed.
The rapper admitted that the experience had made him appreciate life more, and it was something that could not have been controlled. Describing his recovery process, Dr. Dre shared that he asked doctors about what he could have done to prevent the aneurysm, but not a single person could give him a clear answer. He spent two weeks in the ICU, with doctors continuously reassuring him how lucky he was.
Last month, Dr. Dre and Snoop Dogg made headlines with the launch of their range of pre-mixed cocktails, called Gin & Juice. The drinks come in four different flavors, including melon, citrus, apricot, and passionfruit, and are currently available in stores throughout the US. Together, they are said to be working on a sequel album to their 1993 hit album, Doggystyle.
Snoop Dogg expressed his excitement about this collaboration, sharing that he had been working on the album with Dre for the past eight months and that they were almost ready to drop the first single. He revealed that the album, titled “Missionary,” would be their first album-length collaboration in almost three decades. The duo’s last collaboration was in 2015 on Dre’s album “Compton,” where they worked together on the tracks “One Shoot One Kill” and “Satisfaction.”
