Yungblud teases free outdoor show in London next week ahead of “biggest announcement yet”: “It’s about to get fookin mental”

Yungblud has announced that he will be having a free major outdoor show in London on Monday, March 18th. However, the location of the event will only be announced on the day. The musician teased the announcement of the major event last week and thanked his fans for the community they helped to build. Yungblud added to the anticipation by revealing that he will be making the announcement during the free show in the capital.

Fans will not be made aware of the gig location until the morning of the show. Wristbands will be available for the show from 3 pm at the location. Yungblud posted about the event on Twitter, saying, “FREE OUTDOOR SHOW and my biggest announcement yet. MONDAY 18th of MARCH. NORTH LONDON. Exact location released Monday morning 10 am on my story. SHOWTIME AT 5 pm. COME TO LONDON. SEE YOU THERE. it’s about to get fookin mental.”

In a video posted a week ago, Yungblud promised that in ten days’ time, he would make the biggest announcement of his career. He also revealed that each day at 5 pm, he would post on his social media accounts a memory that he believes defines his community. He commemorated the first of these memories from a gig he had with 150 fans on a boat on the River Thames in July 2019, where afterward, he projected the phrase “There’s Hope For The Underrated Youth’ on the side of the Houses of Parliament.

In January, Yungblud released his latest single ‘When We Die (Can We Still Get High?).’ The track followed the release of three other singles in 2023, ‘Lowlife,’ ‘Hated,’ and ‘Happier,’ which was a collaboration with Bring Me The Horizon singer Oli Sykes
