Weezer has recently confirmed their ‘Voyage To The Blue Planet’ tour to commemorate the thirty-year anniversary of ‘The Blue Album.’ The North American tour, slated for 2024, will feature the band performing their self-titled debut album in full, along with rare tracks and “very special guests.” Accompanying them on tour will be The Flaming Lips and Dinosaur Jr.
Presale tickets for the tour will be available on Wednesday, March 13 at 12 pm local time via Weezer’s mailing list. Citi cardmembers, on the other hand, may obtain presale tickets from their website on the same day at 8 am local time, which can be accessed here. The sale of general tickets will begin on March 15 at 10 am local time, which can be purchased here.
To match their first-ever appearance on March 1992 at Raji’s, where they opened for Dogstar and dubbed its band name Weezer, the band also announced a special anniversary event on March 15 at the Lodge Room in Los Angeles, which sold out quickly. Keanu Reeves’ band Dogstar will serve as support acts for that show.
Weezer is set to join The Smashing Pumpkins on their European tour this year in June, with tickets for their joint performance available here.
