Wallows announce ‘Model’ world tour dates in UK, Europe and North America

Wallows have officially announced their 2024 ‘Model’ world tour which will cross the UK, Europe and North America. The group will begin their largest tour yet at the Alaska Airlines’ ​​Theater of the Clouds in Portland, Oregon on August 6, and take the lead throughout the US in the major cities of Seattle, Las Vegas, Austin, Atlanta, New York, Boston and San Francisco. The North American part of the ‘Model’ tour will end on September 12 in the Kia Forum in Los Angeles, California. In October, Wallows will travel to Europe and perform in cities such as Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, and Berlin before heading to the UK to play in Birmingham, Edinburgh, Newcastle, Manchester and ending with a show at London’s Alexandra Palace on October 22.
 
Benee will be the opening support for all of the North American dates during the World Tour. A ticket pre-sale will be available for Wallows newsletter subscribers starting Tuesday, March 12, at 10 a.m. local time through Thursday, March 14, at 10 p.m. local time. Furthermore, a pre-sale will be open to Citi cardholders from March 12 at 10 a.m. local time to March 14 at 10 p.m. local time via the Citi Entertainment programme. The general ticket sales will begin on Friday, March 15, at 10 a.m. local time.
 
Wallows’ third album ‘Model’ will be released on May 24 via Atlantic and is available for pre-order. The album’s lead single ‘Your Apartment’ has already been released. Dylan Minnette stated that they hoped the album would be the most approachable album that they had created in an interview with Rolling Stone. Additionally, he stated that “We don’t want to take too much of their attention, but we want to keep it. We keep them the whole time and make them want to come back”. Moreover, the LP is available on clear vinyl, a limited edition “sunset” vinyl exclusively on Wallows’ web store, CD and cassettes.

Wallows band members Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters, and Cole Preston spoke to NME in 2022 about how their upcoming album developed during their time on tour. It was said that the band was thinking of new ideas for the next album. Speaking on the topic, Dylan Minnette shared “I feel like our fans will be excited about our ideas – but we might change our minds!”.
