A man who was climbing in Derbyshire had to be airlifted to hospital after suffering serious injuries from a 33ft slip. The Edale Mountain Rescue Team arrived at Millstone Edge after receiving a call at 4:46 PM on Friday. The climber was treated at the scene for pelvic injuries before being removed on a stretcher and transported by air ambulance to Northern General Hospital’s trauma unit in Sheffield.
