Air originated from France, made up of duo Nicolas Godin and Jean-Benoît Dunckel that gained notoriety with their album “Moon Safari,” which celebrated 25 years last year. While performing classics like ‘Sexy Boy’ and ‘All I Need’ during the tour, they also played hits from other albums including ‘Cherry Blossom Girl’ from the album ‘Talkie Walkie,’ ‘High School Lover,’ and tracks from their ‘Virgin Suicides’ soundtrack and closed the tour with ‘Electronic Performers’ from ’10 000 Hz Legend’.
Air has previously expressed cautious optimism about a new album. Nicolas Godin said to NME in 2019, “I think artists and bands have 10 years when you make really great music and after that, it gets less and less good. We have to be careful because Air is magic and we don’t want to ruin it by doing a substandard album.
